Perplexity Pro Adds Real-Time Research Agent for Enterprises

Perplexity AI launched Perplexity Research Agent for Enterprise — an autonomous web research tool that can conduct multi-hour research sessions, synthesise information from hundreds of sources, and deliver structured reports on complex topics. The product is available as a standalone tool and as an integration within Slack and Notion.

Unlike the existing Perplexity search product which answers individual queries, the Research Agent maintains state across a research session — following up on initial findings, identifying contradictions in sources, and iterating on its understanding until it reaches a comprehensive answer to a given research question.
